Hello Chad & Brooke!
It's almost 2 weeks after ending your exercise camp, and am still eager to do more workouts. I had feared i would not do well (having been so sedentary for years and an exercise hater too, back then). Well, you have converted me- am happy to report I look forward to getting my workouts done.
I have gained endurance, strength and even lost weight...all i had hoped for and more. I have gained confidence and pride in doing something awesome for me, which ultimately benefits my family too. Showing up at 5:30 a.m. to exercise scares most folks. However, this ONE hour you work out goes by so fast. Having other women to remind you this is doable and that you are not alone, well---this is the bonus of the camp. It's all real women with real lives who make the time to get healthier.
In my youth, my metabolism was a blessing & i did not need exercise to stay slim- BUT until now, i have not ever been "fit". I started your program with a mega "muffin top", it has diminished and my legs are really strong now. I lost some of my "junk in the trunk" too. I think what made biggest difference to me, is your disposition; you are not loud, obnoxious nor too happy perky either...had a few aerobic/Jazzercise instructors (yes, am dating myself) who annoyed me enough to quit class. Always appreciated you being aware of each of us and giving instruction/aid as necessary so we would do well.
Thank you!

Hi Chad
After camp #6, I am in so much better shape, stronger and doing so much better with my eating than I ever thought I would be doing. I really appreciate all the help and support you and Brooke have given me along with all the girls in camp. I could never have done this on my own. Even though this camp was the toughest, it was also the most rewarding....Thinking about all the things I can do now that I have never done before is so incredible...saying thank you is never enough for all your help. Camp is the most fun, challenging and rewarding thing I have ever done. I am so happy with my results. This is the absolute best decision I have ever made concerning my health. I plan on staying in camp....there is nothing else like it...Thanks Again, Diane

I had a very encouraging experience today that I wanted to share with you, because it would not have happened if I had not been in your camp for the last 9 months!
I had a doctor's appointment this morning and the doctor was palpating my abdomen, pushing pretty deeply. She asked me if I had been doing a lot of sit ups or something. I told her, yes, I go to a boot camp. She said, "Well, I just wondered because I can't feel any of your organs through all the muscle." I was like, "Really?" She said, "Usually I can feel all the organs but I can't feel anything through all those thick muscles."
Wow, hearing that was great! It was just another confirmation to me that this excercise stuff WORKS! I can honestly say that I feel better now that I have felt in probably 15 or 20 years! Before starting boot camp exercise had never been a part of my life. Walking from the car to the house was about the extent of my cardio workout and the only running I did was to get out of the rain!
In the 9 months that I have attended boot camp I have done more exercise that I ever did in the first 50 years of my life! I have done things I never dreamed I could do and I can now actually say that I enjoy exercising and I love the results I have seen so far.
Thank you so much for making this program available and for the great motivation that you provide every camper! You use your great sense of humor and professional knowledge to push us beyond our limits and laugh while we're doing it! Thank you!

Adventure Boot Camp is hard, fun, strangely addictive, and a totally positive, awesome experience! I'm doing more than I ever imagined I'd be able to do. I'm down two dress sizes so far, but that's just a bonus to feeling so much better over all.

Hello Chad,
Now that I am completely awake, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you for such a great boot camp. It was everything I expected and more. I am very pleased with the results I've accomplished during these 4 weeks. I could not have done it without your dedication and motivation.
Your dedication has motivated me to do things I have never done before, like running the mile without stopping, among other things.
I love the fact that even at 5:30am, I was motivated and ready to go when most of the world would rather be in bed . You bring such and energy to the camp that we have no choice but to get busy and get it done. I appreciate the fact that you encourage us to think about what and how we should eat. This is such a problem with most of us, at least me.
I was amazed to see how you used every single object around us (benches, walls, side walk, etc), as part of our workout routine. As Joyce would put it "he is a genius."
You and Brooke make such a great and motivating team. I am thankful for you both. Congratulations and thank you!

Thank you Chad for a wonderful two of the best months of my life! After many, many months of feeling completely disgusted with myself I decided it was time to do SOMETHING. I have NEVER been the "athletic" type and thought that I was making a big mistake by signing up for something like this. After the second week, I was feeling fantastic. So much energy and enthusiasm. My goal was to lose 12 lbs. But much to my surprise, I only lost 7 and was HAPPY about that. You taught me not to pay attention to my weight and focus on the inches. And that I did! I dropped 4 pant sizes! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever fit into those pants again.
Thanks again Chad!!! Boot Camp was the best decision I've made in years!

Dear Chad
Thank you for everything. I had a great time, and I feel
wonderful. My kids are so proud of me, and I am proud of myself also. I
really did not think I could make it through the 4 weeks, but, you were
right, I could feel myself getting stronger. I am getting back into my
clothes, and I am feeling much more comfortable. That was my goal when I
started, and I don't want to stop now. I would like to continue for the next
session...

Hi Chad,
I just wanted to say you have changed my life in only 4 weeks!! I have
joined a "womans gym" here in St. Cloud and it didn't offer the push your
program does. The women in my St. Cloud morning bootcamp group were THE
BEST!! The desire to push ourselves and take one more step was evident on
our last test day. I am honored to be an Adventure Bootcamp "Chadette".
Because of your motivation and concern for all of us I have signed up for
the next camp starting in August. I decided not to measure myself now
because I am pushing to lose more inches and I know with your program I will
accomplish everything I set out to do. I already feel better, review calorie
and fat intake and eat more wisely. Thank you so very much for taking the
time to do this because we have needed someone like you for a long time!!
By the way, the nature walk on Friday was FANTASTIC!! Not only did I enjoy
the walk with you and Brooke but sharing a bit of myself was liberating.
Please keep doing this program!! IT WORKS!!
Sincerely and forever a Bootcamp "Chadette"

At the end of four weeks of boot camp I feel that I can give an honest evaluation of the program. I will divide this evaluation into three sections: likes, dislikes, and suggestions for the future.
Likes. There are many things I like about camp. First and foremost, I like the confidence and encouragement of the trainer. Chad, the confidence and enthusiasm you have in yourself is paramount to the enthusiasm you have for your campers. This radiates into us, as your campers, so that we have enthusiasm and confidence.
Also, you are happy when we do well. Your encouraging words are not sugar coated or fake; rather, you push, encourage, praise, push, encourage praise, etc. You are NEVER EVER demeaning. You are NEVER EVER condescending. You are knowledgeable and educated in your field. You are passionate about what you do. You care about others and it shows in your boot camp!
I have to admit, my favorite parts of camp were the circuit training, density drills, and anything to do with that. I feel the reason (for me personally) is because I feel more confident in "shorter" runs. I can easily kick up my intensity on these because it's easier on my shins, etc. Therefore I can do more. None the less, I like the running and power walking at a longer distance too. Yet, my personal performance isn't as confidence. The games are fun--even beach day :) Every day is more interesting, challenging, and rewarding.
I love the variety of exercises. So, therefore I feel like we learn a lot in camp. Not only that, you teach us about our bodies (our muscles), and where and why certain exercises work. Knowledge is power Chad! Thanks for the additional power!
Dislikes. If I would have done this eval after the first week I would have said that I disliked the jumping jacks, push ups, and sit ups. But, guess what? I actually love them!! Who needs wimpy sissy exercises? What good would that do? Where would the challenge be? So, OK, they are hard, even the modified ones (for me). But guess what again?? I saw results in myself because of them. Would I see results in wimpy, sissy stuff?? No. To be honest, there is nothing I dislike about camp. There are only things I "dislike" about myself. But, I'm working on that.
Future Improvements.
I would like to see Brooke and you do a "couples" exercise class. I think that would be fun. You two are such an inspiration together. Not just in your commitment to physical fitness but your commitment to each other. Successful couples encourage each other.

Chad, I want to thank you and Brooke for having camp. You are really very special people and you touch and change a lot of people's lives by helping them to get in shape. I feel so much stronger. Everyday I feel more and more better. I feel healthier in mind, body, and spirit. I feel I can handle my day to day stresses better. The class is very challenging to me and there are some days where I say I don't want to go, but I just say to myself get out of bed Susie and I go and afterwards I feel sooooooooooo good! I feel so much better I could jump up to the sky. I tell everybody about your boot camp. I also like that it is so early in the morning that I can get it done before work. Thank you very much.

Hi Chad
It was an extremely fun month that I loved. I really need someone to motivate me and in boot camp not only did I get great encouragement from yourself but also from Brooke and all the girls in camp. I enjoyed all the workouts even though I had to modify such things as jumping jacks, which I am not a big fan of. I am most proud of the difference I feel after one month. I am stronger and have more energy all day. I miss the workouts already.
